The Yayasan Pendidikan Keuangan dan Perbankan (YPKP) has more than 50 years of experience in managing higher education. Since 1968, YPKP has continuously contributed to the development of education in Indonesia, beginning with the establishment of the Bandung Branch of the National Banking Academy (Akademi Bank Nasional/ABN). Over time, ABN evolved into AKUBANK YPKP, which later became STIE YPKP (School of Economics), while YPKP also established STT YPKP (School of Technology).
As part of its commitment to expanding educational opportunities, STIE YPKP and STT YPKP were integrated and strengthened with the establishment of the Faculty of Communication and Administration. This integration led to the formation of Universitas Sangga Buana YPKP (USB YPKP).
The establishment of USB YPKP reflects YPKP’s mission to contribute to the intellectual development of the nation and uphold the noble values of Indonesia through quality higher education. The university offers Diploma, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate programs, aiming to support the development of a just, prosperous, and harmonious society under the guidance and blessings of Almighty God.
Universitas Sangga Buana Yayasan Pendidikan Keuangan dan Perbankan (USB YPKP) was officially established through the Decree of the Directorate General of Higher Education (DIKTI) No. 178/D/O/2006, issued on August 24, 2006. The university was founded through the merger of STIE YPKP, which became the Faculty of Economics, and STT YPKP, which became the Faculty of Engineering, together with the establishment of a new faculty, the Faculty of Communication and Administration (FIKA).
Today, USB YPKP continues to develop as a comprehensive higher education institution dedicated to academic excellence, innovation, and community service, preparing graduates to meet the challenges of an increasingly dynamic and globalized world.
