Universitas Sangga Buana Strengthens Internationalization through Academic Activities in Thailand


Bangkok – Universitas Sangga Buana (USB) YPKP continues to expand its international network and cooperation through active participation in a series of academic activities held together with Krirk International Affairs in Thailand. This activity is part of the university's strategy to encourage the internationalization of higher education and strengthen cross-country collaboration.

In the series of activities, USB YPKP was represented by the Third Vice Rector, Dr. Nurhaeni Sikki, S.A.P., M.A.P., together with a representative from the Vocational Directorate, Dr. Finny Redjeki, S.E., M.M. The involvement of university leadership affirms USB YPKP's commitment to building sustainable and impactful academic partnerships.

The main agenda of the activities included the implementation of a guest lecturer as a medium for cross-country academic knowledge and experience exchange, while strengthening lecturer and institutional networks. In addition, the signing of various cooperation documents was also carried out, including a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Memorandum of Agreement (MoA), and Implementation Arrangement (IA) as the formal foundation for developing collaboration in the fields of education, research, and human resource development.

The USB YPKP delegation also conducted academic visits to Ratana Bundit University and Kasem Bundit University. These visits focused on exploring inter-university cooperation opportunities, particularly in developing academic programs, collaborative research, and increasing the capacity of lecturers and students at the Asian regional level.

As part of the international activity series, the USB YPKP delegation also made a courtesy visit to the Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) and was officially received by the Education Attaché. This meeting was a strategic moment to strengthen the synergy between Indonesian universities and government representatives abroad, especially in supporting the policies and programs of national higher education internationalization.

Through this series of international academic activities, USB YPKP affirms its commitment to continue expanding global partnerships, encouraging knowledge exchange, and increasing competitiveness and academic quality at the international level.
